Monica Malhotra secured first place in the Humorous speech contest and Wendy Marano second position in the Evaluation contest held on Sept 24th. Both are advancing to the Division level. Congratulations!

Don Howell ACB, ALB won the Award for his speech with a touching story from Sue Goodman, Toastmaster, this week.

On March 25th, 2015 La Palma Toastmasters celebrated its fifth anniversary at La Palma City Hall.  In attendance were current members, past members, family, and La Palma city councilmen.

Angie Wahl and Ralph Rodriguez represented La palma Club for the Area Contest held on September 13th, 2014. Angie Wahl was placed second in the Humorous contest and Ralph Rodriguez won the first place in the evaluation contest. Ralph Rodriguez will advance to compete in the Division E contest.

Humorous and Evaluation Club contest was held on September 3rd, 2014. There were two contestants for each category. Angie Wahl and Jean Kilroy competed for the Humorous speech category and Ralph Rodriguez and Wendy Marano competed for the evaluation contest. Angie Wahl was the winner of the Humorous contest and Ralph Rodriguez was the winner of the evaluation contest. Both of them will advance to Area E contest.

Two new potential members came to the meeting and took part in Table Topics. We hope they will return next week.

The installation of the new officers for the term 2014-2015 will occur on Wednesday, June 25 at 6:30 PM at our regular meeting. Angie Wahl our Area E4 Governor will do the honors. You are invited to attend and pass on your good wishes and congratulations to the new team. The outgoing officers are also requested to attend to help complete the transition
